Touchdown
Upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), you may get a free airport guide, travel procedures, maps, helpful tips, flight information, and contact numbers from tourism offices inside the airport.
Taxi
Taxi services are available from NAIA to all points of Manila. Take only metered, official or pre-booked taxis. Ignore strangers who approach you to offer a ride. The taxis in front the “Arrivals” section are metered and will charge about Php150-200 (USD6-38) going to key hotels in Manila.
You may also book in advance for a pick-up service from any major hotel in Manila or look for a hotel representative in the “Arrivals” section. This will cost you Php750-950 or USD30-38, but is more secured and convenient as compared to metered taxis. You may also want to use the same service when going around Manila.
Allow a travel time of 20 minutes to one hour from NAIA to your hotel, depending on the traffic.
Bus
If your goal is to get to other NAIA terminals for a connecting flight, NAIA has a shuttle bus terminal at the right side from the exit of the Arrival Lobby (look for the “Airport Shuttle” sign). Riding the minibuses is free of charge. The driver will help you in bringing your luggage inside. Tell him your carrier’s name so he would know where to drop you off. The trip takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the traffic.
Jeepney
Near the bus terminal is a jeepney station, where you can ride a jeepney from the international airport going to the domestic airport. Fee is only Php7. Sometimes, you have to wait for the jeepneys to become full or half-full before they leave. It’s also hot inside and would take about 10 to 20 minutes of travel time, depending on the traffic.
Train
NAIA is also linked to the Line 1 of the Light Rail Transit (Baclaran Station). To get to the train, take a two-kilometer taxi ride to Baclaran. Another LRT Line is being planned to link Baclaran Station directly to the airport’s three terminals.
Parking
Short-term parking is available in front Terminal 1 (lots A to C) and Terminal 2. For long-term parking, try the corner of MIA and Domestic Roads or in front Terminal 3. Parking rate is Php50 per day or per night. Do not leave anything important inside the car. There are also alleged, but unverified, cases of cars being stolen inside the parking lots.
Near Terminal 3 is Park n Fly, which charges Php313 per day, with 10 percent discount for more than three nights and with a free shuttle service to any of the terminals. However, some report of allegedly seeing scratches on their vehicles after several days of leaving them in Park n Fly, although these reports have not been verified.
