Jupiter Street in Bel-Air Village, Makati City is a nightlife hub known for its string of karaoke bars, international restaurants, and grooming amenities such as spas and salons. The street is located nearby Mandarin Oriental Hotel, InterContinental Hotel, A. Venue hotel and restaurant complex, and the infamous red light district, Burgos.

The restaurants along Jupiter Street cater to diners of all budget ranges. The fast-food chains Jollibee, Mc Donald’s, and KFC serve typical American food like burgers, spaghetti and French fries, with the exception of Jollibee, which also offers Filipino snacks like palabok (string noodle dish) and halo-halo (mixed fruits and crushed ice). For more choices in low-priced Filipino delicacies, try Goldilocks and Ineng’s at the Petron gas station, as well as Red Ribbon and Mang Inasal, which are in the same row as KFC and Mc Donald’s.

Makati Ave. Among the other choices are Whistlestop (116 Jupiter St.), Gerry’s Grill (20 Jupiter St.), Kaya Restaurant, Korea Garden Restaurant, Heckle and Jeckle Café and Bar (Jupiter St. cor. For those interested of having karaoke with some food and drinks to boot, along Jupiter Street lies Center Stage Family KTV and Resto Bar, and the smaller Music 21 KTV Bar, Maru Family KTV Bar, and Topgrill Restaurant Bar & KTV.
Spas and salons
Jupiter Street might be known more for its nightlife, but it is a daytime destination as well for its string of spas and salons that are located just right next each other. Among the beauty parlors here are the upscale Franck Provost Salon and the mid-range David’s Salon, which provide typical salon services such as shaving and hair coloring. The street’s other pampering establishments, such as Island Spa, Radiance Spa, and The Spa, specialize in providing foot massage, express massage, back massage, acupuncture and reflexology.
How to get there
The easiest way to get to Jupiter Street is through a taxi from anywhere in Manila. You may also ride any jeepney plying along Makati Avenue or Kalayaan Avenue. Look for the ones that are bound for Burgos if you are taking a ride in Kalayaan, or Ayala/Guadalupe if you are to ride a jeepney anywhere else in Makati. From the Buendia station of LRT, you may also take a jeepney bound for Guadalupe or MRT Buendia, get off in Makati Avenue, and walk your way to Jupiter Street, which is just across the street from Burgos.
