One of the Philippines’ premier real estate developments is Rockwell Center, a self-sustaining community that puts together luxurious condos, up-market shopping, and deluxe dining into one vast complex, making it seem like a city within the city of Makati.

Features
Formed in 1995, Rockwell sits on the location of a former power plant, which is why its shopping mall has been called Power Plant Mall. A flagship project of the Filipino-owned Lopez Group, Rockwell strategically stands between Manila’s three major commercial business districts: Ortigas Center, Makati City, and Bonifacio Global City.
The highlights of the center include condominiums, high-rise office buildings, a law and business school (Ateneo Graduate School), a lifestyle shopping mall, an events venue (Rockwell Tent), and a number of deluxe cafés like Starbucks and Figaro. The Lopez Center, being planned to be constructed on the site, is proposed to have a height of more than 1,000 feet, making it the tallest building in the country.

How to get there
The easiest way to get to Rockwell Center is through a taxi from anywhere in Manila. You may also ride any jeepney plying along J. P. Rizal Avenue or Kalayaan Avenue. Look for the ones that are bound for Rockwell or Guadalupe, then ask the driver to drop you off to Rockwell itself. The fare is only P7 for jeepney (one-way).
From the Guadalupe station of LRT, you may also take a jeepney bound for PRC and ask the driver to drop you off in Rockwell.
