Hotels in Manila are found everywhere, but consideration must be given to where it will be most convenient for you. If your business appointments are in Makati, it is better to billet in a hotel there rather than in other cities. International franchise such as Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental and InterContinental have long established their brands here. But remember that hotels in Makati usually cater to international business executives, hence, these tend to charge higher than the hotels in the rest of the metropolis.
If you want to be close to the airport, hotels in Manila city, Makati, and Pasay could be your best bet. These hotels are only 10 to 20 minutes away from the domestic airport and from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
If you plan to stay longer, then service hotels might provide you with both savings and luxury. Condominium units are available for lease in Makati, Taguig and Pasay. Ermita and Malate have long provided cheap accommodations with its hostels while Roxas Boulevard is known for its prime condominiums, apartments and inns as the boulevard overlooks the world-famous Manila Bay sunset.
