As the capital region of the Philippines, Manila is a transport hub with airplanes, buses, ferries, rent a car, and other modes of transport linked to other major cities and destinations in the country. The region is home to a domestic airport as well as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Without the usual flight delays and heavy traffic, it is relatively easy to go on a weekend escapade and discover the highlands of Baguio, visit the historical sites of Cebu, Davao, and Bohol, or relax in the beaches of Boracay and Palawan.
